Join us for one of Ireland’s most stunning walks.

The Torc Waterfall and Mountain walk, along the suberb Old Kenmare Road trail, meanders through the uplands of Killarney National Park and is also part of the Kerry Way, Ireland’s longest National Waymarked Trail.  It’s a popular route for hikers and offers breathtaking views of Killarney National Park as well as the surrounding mountains and lakes

This is a moderate to challenging walk with some steep inclines and narrow boardwalks. The trail starts at Derrycunnihy Church on the Kerry Way and within 1km picks up the Old Kenmare Road, passing Coars Cascade, then heading up Torc Mountain to give stunning views and a well earned break. The trail returns to follow the Kerry Way back to Muckross House and Gardens passing the 20metre high Torc Waterfall on the way.

The trail will finish at the splendid Muckross House and Garden with the option of lunch in the popular Garden Restauarant.
