Ballard Waterfall is a spectacular hidden gem in the Kilworth hills. The route is made up of small roads, forest tracks and trails. A short walk on road of a few hundred metres is followed by forest tracks which pick up the Blackwater Way before crossing a road to another forest leading down to the waterfall. A little spur off the trail leads to the gushing sound of the waterfall cascading with impressively well maintained steps, handrails and platform make this an unforgettable experience.
