Siul Eile Pods Guidelines

Updated guidelines 7th June 2021

 

These are the guidelines to keep in mind while walking during the latest government restrictions:

Max of 100 on a walk

Ensure you are registered with Siul Eile at  https://siuleile.com/register

Maintain physical distancing of at least 2 metres at all times.

1 Walk leader required per group, sweeper to be appointed before walk commences, walk leader needs to be certain of the route (most people know at least 1 or 2 walks in their locality, the more that volunteer to lead a walk the greater number of walks can be provided)

Do not exchange or share walking equipment, food or drink during the walk

Do not block forest barriers with vehicles, in case of an emergency.

Bring hand sanitiser with you on walk and use after touching any route objects, e.g. barriers, stiles etc

Travel by vehicle to walk meeting point alone or only with a member of the same household, otherwise have a face covering on if car pooling.

Covid 19 Declaration- If going on a Siul Eile walk, please keep the following questions in mind.

Have you travelled abroad in the past 14 days? Yes/ No
Have you had any of the symptoms of Covid-19 in the past 14 days? Yes /No
Have you been in any contact with anyone who has Covid-19 in the past 14 days? Yes/ No

At the outset of each walk the above 3 questions will be asked to ensure everyones safety on the walk and we will also be adhering to the latest HSE guidelines
